Merry Christmas! Unfortunately, we had to cancel our Christmas Eve service because of snow and ice. But don't worry! We have a little video about the revolution that is the Christmas story. You can watch the video on Facebook by clicking here or, if you don't have Facebook, you can watch on YouTube by clicking here.

In the video, you will discover that God doesn't come to us through the powerful rulers of the world, but through a 13-year-old girl and her baby.

God repeatedly says "do not be afraid" in the Christmas story. So why is so much theology based on fear? God doesn't want us to live in fear. In fact, perfect loves cast out fear. You don't have to fear God anymore.

Jesus reveals the free gift of God's universal love. It cannot be put in a box and wrapped in a bow. It wants to be freely shared. That is our mission.

Drive safely out there. And Merry Christmas!

Who We Are
Our church was founded in 1895 and is a local congregation of the United Church of Christ, a mainline protestant denomination of 1.7 million members strong. The Clackamas United Church of Christ is a small but mighty congregation of 120 members. We embrace a tradition of progressive involvement in issues which uphold the rights, dignity and equality of all people under God.

We worship together on Sunday mornings. Worship is central to the life of Clackamas United Church of Christ. Through prayer, music and exploration of scripture, we celebrate our Christian faith and the presence of God in our lives.
