On February 11 after worship at 11:45 am we will have a presentation from Marcia Gilliland, a member of Hillsboro UCC and also a member of the Central Pacific Conference’s Palestinian Israel Network. She has been to Palestine/Israel six times working with the Palestine YWCA teaching sewing in a refugee camp near Ramallah and a women’s center in Dar Salaam. She has assisted Palestinian farmers in olive picking for two years and continues to work for equal rights for all people in Israel and Palestine. Marcia will deliver a presentation and then open up for Q&A.
