Revelation Part 1: What Is the Apocalypse?

Prelude Music – Jean Herrera

Adam: God be with you.

All: And also with you.

Welcome

Peace Candle

We pray for peace,
In our hearts,
In our homes,
In our communities
In our nations,
And in our worlds. Amen.

Scripture: 1 John 4:16-19; Revelation 5:1-10

One: We are gathered to worship together, full of joy for the mission God has set before us.

All: God, who first loved us, has called us to love and care for one another.

One: With God’s help, we can overcome hatred and anger.

All: We seek God and ask for guidance, knowing that we can love because of this grace.

One: God’s love is the beginning and the end; it is the Alpha and Omega.

All: Praise God for love, peace, and hope. Amen.
